Better Together

Information about Better Together

Better together is a community initiative of Homelife Association Inc. The aim of the service is to provide all people with disabilities in Caboolture with more opportunities to take part in the daily life of the community and to increase the social, economic and civic participation of adults with a disability.

A major component of the service is to work with all community and activity based groups, sporting associations, social venues, event organisers and education services to increase their commitment to the inclusion of people with a disability into their activities and projects and to identify key personal who can voluntarily become Community Connectors

Better Together has as its vision statement:

“Better Together”

We believe in working towards a community where diversity is celebrated and where all people with a disability are welcome to participate. Better Together aims for the inclusion of people with a disability. Inclusion for the Network has three components:

Being there

Feeling like you belong there

Being missed if you were not there.
